Plot to Derail the Hearing in the Disha Salian Case?

Lawyers Associations & SSR Warriors warns accused & connected people that they will pay price for any wrong move.

Over 100 Lawyers Set to represent the case of Satish Salian on 24th.

MUMBAI: Bar Associations, SSR Warriors, the GenZ Lawyers Association, and human rights organisations have issued a strong warning that no attempt to obstruct or derail the judicial proceedings in the Disha Salian case, or to exert pressure upon the complainant, witnesses, or advocates, will be tolerated.

The organisations have taken a firm stand following reports that certain persons allegedly associated with the accused may attempt to disrupt the hearing scheduled for 24 August 2026. They have also warned that anyone attempting to interfere with the judicial proceedings or exert pressure upon the administration of justice must be prepared to face serious consequences.

A Force of Over 100 Lawyers to Stand in Court!

More than 100 lawyers are expected to appear before the Court on 24 August in support of Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, and his fight for justice. Several Senior Advocates are also expected to join them. Satish Salian’s pursuit of justice now appears to have entered a broader and more decisive stage.

According to the organisations, the material placed on the Court’s record, the observations reportedly made by the Bombay High Court on 3 August 2026, and the binding judgments of the Supreme Court have firmly established the legal grounds necessary for registering an FIR. The organisations claim that registration of the FIR now remains merely a procedural formality. These developments have reportedly sent shockwaves through the concerned camp.

Allegations of Earlier Attempts to Defame

The statement contains serious allegations that previous attempts were made to harass and defame Satish Salian and his advocate, Adv. Nilesh Ojha. Certain journalists and media houses were allegedly used to exert pressure upon them.

Even then, several members of the legal fraternity, SSR Warriors, and the general public stood firmly with Satish Salian and Adv. Nilesh Ojha. The supporting organisations have now resolved to continue the fight for justice with full force and without yielding to any pressure.

Letters Sent to the Chief Minister, Prime Minister, and Chief Justice of India

Letters expressing serious concerns about the safety of Satish Salian, the witnesses in the case, and the advocates representing him have been addressed to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Prime Minister of India, and the Chief Justice of India.

The letters expressly demand that, if any untoward incident occurs involving Satish Salian, the witnesses, or their advocates, responsibility should be fixed upon the accused named in the letters and retired police officer Param Bir Singh.

“Lay a Hand on Them, and You Will Have to Answer to Us.” This is the clear message now delivered to all concerned.
