The representation further alleges that former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede was deliberately targeted and discredited to obstruct the examination of crucial evidence allegedly available with him.

According to the representation, allegations had previously surfaced that Sameer Wankhede demanded ₹22 crore in connection with Shah Rukh Khan and allegedly received ₹50 lakh through his manager, Pooja Dadlani.
However, the video submitted to the CBI reportedly contains a statement attributed to Dadlani denying that any money was demanded from her or paid by her.
Satish Salian has therefore demanded that the CBI independently authenticate the video, obtain the complete original recording and formally record Pooja Dadlani’s statement.

The representation points out that Sameer Wankhede was associated with the NCB investigation during which Rhea Chakraborty was arrested.

The representation also seeks investigation into the possible involvement of public officials, intermediaries and other individuals who may have attempted to obstruct the investigation, suppress evidence or protect influential persons.
The letter makes it clear that if unexplained delays continue in recording material witness statements and examining the newly submitted digital evidence, Satish Salian may approach the competent constitutional court seeking a court-monitored investigation.**
